Getting Around Raipur Chhattisgarh

Raipur is known for its famous temples and waterfalls, below is the detail of some of the beautiful places in the city;

Vivekananda Sarovar (Budha Talab):- It is the one of the oldest lakes in the city. The beautiful part of this place is the establishment of 37 feet huge statue of Swami Vivekananda in meditating position at the end of the park. It has also been added to the Limca Book of Records.

City Clock Tower:- This clock plays a different local folk tune every hour and is situated in one of the busiest squares of the Raipur.

Chitrakote Falls:- Chitrakot waterfalls, also known as Niagara fall of India is a natural waterfall. Height of this beautiful waterfall is about 29 meters.

Laxman Temple:- This Lord Vishnu temple was built in the 7th century and is one of the finest brick temples of India.

Apart from these, Kanha National Park, Bhoramdeo Temple, Gangrel Dam, Water World Resort and Madku Dweep are also some of the famous tourist attractions.
